Meeting timeOur first meeting was great! We enjoyed some great time together, delicious food from the grill, yummy veggies and fruit, and flavored waters. The kids played foam baseball and badminton. A special thank you to our kids grandparents for showing up to show their support to us and to our kids. Please be sure to let Grandparents know that they are welcome to!!!Next meeting time is September 9, at 7 pm. Please plan to attend!  Mom's Night OutDo I have your attention now? Once a month, the Moms will be going out, ALONE! No kids, no hubbies or significant others, no diabetes. It is okay!!! It is one night, 2 - 3 glorious hours, for us to just sit back and recharge. The first night out will be posted after the September meeting!!!
Dad's need a break too!Don't worry Dad's ...... we certainly wouldn't forget all that you do too! We definitely want to give you time too. We will be scheduling a monthly event for the guys as well. So many times the Dad's get left out and we don't want to overlook all their hard work! We will post their first event after the September meeting. |
Friends for life...Kids love to get email! Considerswapping email addy's with the other children in the support group so the kids can keep in touch during the month.   |
